East Central Ohio Education Association Members interested in running for a statewide office must file the Declaration of Candidacy with OEA Elections Coordinator William Baird (bairdw@ohea.org) by Date to be determined, in order to appear on the ballot. This includes OEA Board of Directors ECOEA-Unit 1 (deadline January 26, 2026), as well as other statewide offices. As there is a vacancy in the Unit-1 Board seat, the applicant can apply for either just the remaining term (April-July 14), and/or the upcoming three-year term (July 15, 2025-July 14, 2028).
