East Central Ohio Education Association The Quinn Scholarship for Students is awarded each spring to the child of an ECOEA member who is enrolled in a course of study leading to a degree in education. The student award is $1,500 paid to the student’s college or university, and is chosen by lottery drawing from all eligible applicants.
The Quinn Scholarship for Members is a $500 award for a member for continuining education and is paid by reimbursement upon successful completion and documentation of expense. This year, in honor of the passing of Dolores Quinn, a memorial scholarship of $500 will be also awarded. Both the annual and memorial scholarships will be chosen by lottery drawing from all member applicants for a total of two $500 member scholarships.
