THE DAVID AUGUSTA UNIT SCHOLARSHIPS
David Augusta was a lifelong passionate member for public education and served ECOEA as President and Executive Director. David also served on the OEA Board of Directors representing ECOEA and as an NEA Director. David retired from Louisville City Schools and continued his career as an educator at Stark State College. David was instrumental in establishing the Unit Scholarships so it is a fitting memorial that they be named in his honor.
The Unit Scholarship Drawing will be held at the ECOEA Fall Representative Assembly on Saturday, November 9th. There will be one winner drawn from each of the three ECOEA voting units.
