ECOEA Expiring Terms and Letter of Intent 2024

Currently, ECOEA has two vacancies on the Executive Committee–Carroll County Representative and Tuscarawas County Representative. Members interested in being appointed to fulfill the vacancies should notify the ECOEA Business Manager at ecoea@sbcglobal.net or by phone at (330) 499-8587.

The nominations for ECOEA officers and Executive Committee member positions opens on January 1, 2024. The Letter Of Intent 2023  for expiring terms in 2024 must be received in the ECOEA office by March 1, 2024, in order to appear on the ballot at the 2024 ECOEA Spring Representative Assembly for Executive Committee county reps and OEA Committee representatives. OEA Board of Directors Unit #2 must follow OEA filing deadlines.

The following ECOEA positions are for a three-year term (expires 2027):

Wayne County Rep #1

Columbiana County Rep #1

Minority Member

OEA Board of Directors Unit #2 (requires OEA Declaration of Candidacy filed with OEA,member must be from a local in Unit #2)

ECOEA Rep to the OEA Resolutions Committee

ECOEA Rep to the OEA Legislative Committee

ECOEA Rep to the  Local Development and Training Committee

ECOEA Rep to the Human and Civil Rights Committee
