East Central Ohio Education Association Nominations for ECOEA elected positions open on January 1, 2027, and close on March 1, 2027.
To declare your candidacy for a position that will be filled at the ECOEA Spring Representative Assembly on April 10, 2027, your Letter of Intent application must reach the ECOEA Executive Director no later than March 1, 2027, in order for your name to appear on the ballot. Please be sure to state your name, local, and the position. Postal mail or electronic submission is acceptable.
Positions with expiring terms in 2027 are:
OEA Board of Directors Unit 2 (must be from a local in Unit 2, must file Declaration of Candidacy with OEA (term 2027-2030)
ECOEA President (term 2027-2029)
ECOEA Vice-President (term 2027-2029)
ECOEA Recording Secretary (term 2027-2029)
Columbiana Rep (term 2027-2030)
Stark County Rep #3 (term 2027-2030)
Wayne Rep #1 (term 2027-2030)
ESP Rep (term 2027-2030)
Term expires for the following ECOEA Reps to OEA Standing Committee positions:

Member Rights and Protection (term 2027-2030)
Legislative (term 2027-2030)
Resolutions (term 2027-2030)
